Welcome to Diamond Island Resort's Setup Instructions to view some of the penguins here.
Don't worry about the length of this page, setup involves installing a small file and then logging in.
2 Sets of cameras are available, after setting up you can check below for what can be viewed on each camera.
There are screenshots below along with instructions on setting up so that you can view the cameras.
Had some hiccups in getting everything running smoothly (hence delay in posting this page), appears all is ok now.
Have to reload images and videos of penguins, resort and east coast which I am in the process of doing now.
Have had a couple of strange, negative comments left on Tripadvisor recently mostly centred around me restricting guests from running with the penguins and guests not allowed to pat them. If you are not happy with something please let us know, if you are happy and able some feedback of a positive nature to Tripadvisor would be appreciated.
Happy viewing.
thanks
Robert
Setup instructions below.
To view Internet Cameras you MUST be using Internet Explorer
Go to http://unidenvideo.com/Aus (If a problem with this http://unidenvideo.com and select Australia as your region)
FIRST time viewing requires installation of an ocx this can be selected from bottom of the Uniden screen or click on link below.
Please download and install OCX plug-in before use. (Version: 1.2.3 05/02/2012)
This will install the ocx so that you can view the cameras on your screen
After the once only installation has been done (see image below):
Enter Login Name :DIR123 (second set of cameras Login Name DIR1234)
Password : penguins1 (same password for both sets of cameras)
Then press the Login button

After Logging In
Press View Now (see image below)

Enter 123456 as codes (Security Code) for both sets of cameras (see image below)

The 2x button increases the viewing screen size.
Pressing record allows recording (or snapshot) of the screen to the path location you have entered.
If nothing is recorded check first that you have entered a path, if still nothing you will need to change option for recording/snapshot, instructions found here.
Will update this page whenever I move cameras around or if there is a change ie nesting
Select a camera (1,2,3,4) and press start

Cameras 1 and 2 showing penguins coming in at night rely on you knowing what time sunset is here.
For sunset time check the link below, penguins coming in approximately 20 minutes after this time. Will keep an eye on the times and modify if need be.
